How much does it cost?

Does the treatment hurt?

The short answer is no. A whitening gel is applied to the front surface of the teeth and then the laser whitening lamp is activated to speed the process. No pain is felt and the treatment is relaxing.

What is the difference between zoom and laser?

Essentially they are the same thing. Laser teeth whitening and Zoom whitening use a light to oxidize the special whitening gel and this allows the treatment time to only take one hour. With the Zoom lamp the treatment would take much longer and the results would not be as good.

Are there any known side effects?

Some people get a little sensitivity for up to 48 hours after the treatment but that is the only known side effect. As part of the process the pores of the enamel open up to release the deep staining and a result when the pores are open can result in sensitivity. Typically after 24 hours of undertaking the treatment the pores of the enamel close up.

Am I suitable?

As long as you are over 19 years of age, not pregnant and under any suffer from epilepsy you are suitable. On the day we perform a pre-consultation which checks the teeth and gums to ensure you are suitable.

How long does the treatment take?

From start to finish including the pre-consultation the Laser teeth whitening treatment takes around 90 minutes. This time caters for maximum results and customer comfort.

How long does the results last?

Typically between twelve and eighteen months but this will depend on customers changing habits that might have created the staining in the first place. As part of the consultation process we will try and understand what has caused the staining on your teeth and then recommend managing a program for the future.

How White will my teeth go?

The average results we achieve at LA Teeth Whitening is between five and seven shades which offers a natural and noticeable difference to your smile. Some customer go twelve shades lighter but the process and treatment remains the same the only difference is the customers teeth.

What should I do after the treatment?

We recommend that you avoid the known suspects like coffee, tea, smoking, blackcurrant, curries and gravy to name a few for at least 24 hours after the treatment as this will reduce the whiteness as the teeth are more absorbent during this period.

Do we use hydrogen peroxide bleach system?

No we use a safe and effective Laser teeth whitening treatment that gets great results but does not give your gums or teeth and irritation or sensitivity during or after the treatment.
