How much does laser teeth whitening cost?

Does the laser teeth whitening treatment hurt?

No one should get high levels of sensitivity to laser teeth whitening. A whitening gel is applied to the front area of the teeth and then the laser whitening LED light is used and this results in just one hours whitening treatment time.

What is the difference between zoom and laser?

Essentially they are the same thing. Both the Laser teeth whitening and Zoom teeth whitening systems will use a light to accelerate the special whitening gel and this speedens the treatment time to only take one hour.

Are there any known side effects?

Some people may get a little sensitivity of the teeth for a few hours after the treatment but that is the only known side effect.

Am I suitable?

If you over 17 years of age, not pregnant and under DO NOT suffer from epilepsy then you are likely to be suitable for laser teeth whitening. On the day of the treatment we will undertake a pre-consultation prior to the whitening. It is advisable to check with your dentist first.

How long does the treatment take?

The whole thing including the pre-consultation and the Laser teeth whitening treatment takes around 90 minutes. This time caters for maximum results and customer comfort.

How long does the results last?

Typically between twelve and eighteen months but this will depend on customers changing habits that might have created the staining in the first place. As part of the consultation process we will try and understand what has caused the staining on your teeth and then recommend managing a program for the future.

How White will my teeth go?

The average results we achieve at LA Teeth Whitening is between five and twelve shades whiter on the vita whitening shade guide which will offer you a natural and noticeable difference to your smile. Some customer go twelve shades lighter but will depend on how stained the teeth are in the first place.

What should I do after the treatment?

It is best practice that you avoid things like smoking, coffee, tea, cola, blackcurrant/fruit juices, curries and gravy to name a few for at least 24 hours after the treatment as this can re-stain the teeth when they are slightly more porous.
